Emma Blaker, Blaker’s Blades

Business Description

Why choose Blaker's Blades for your barbering needs?

  • Hair has always been a passion of mine, so retraining as a barber, turned my dream into reality.
  • I have excellent interpersonal skills, having worked with senior managers and recruiters, through to young children, in my previous roles in teaching & recruitment.
  • From start to finish, the booking in process is super simple.
  • I thrive on making my clients feel their very best, starting with a thorough consultation process.

What makes Blaker's Blades unique?

  • I take time to find out what my clients like/dislike about their hair, how this fits in with their lifestyle, in conjunction with an analysis of head shape, neckline, hair texture and how long they want to spend maintaining their style requirements.
  • When working with children, I am patient and calm;  I fully explain what I am going to do, show them the equipment I will be using and reassure them at all times, so their experience is a positive one.
  • My services are tailored to you and your individual requirements; you get a truly personalised service.

I provide a versatile and flexible service; you can have a trim or restyle in the comfort of your own home or come to me and avoid the dreaded 'barbershop' queue. The choice is yours.

My Recommendations

We used Emma of Blakers Blades to undertake a pre-school cut of our two young girls of ages 4 and 7, both of whom are already VERY fussy when it comes to hairstyles and both have fairly wild, curly hair. They were very excited pre visit and even moreso post Emma's visit. She handled them both perfectly, with a calming and engaging approach. Brilliant job Emma! We were all very happy with the end results. No mean feat!!

Emma was really helpful in coming to my office to give me a haircut while I had a broken foot and was unable to get to see my normal barber I have used for many years. Emma was attentive, listened to what I wanted and gave me a great cut while almost sitting at my desk!
